I saw someone use google adsense , he place his google ads in his forum.(not only at the top of forum)
the adsense appear in the "topic" .
when some one post a topic , the google adsense ads will auto appear on the topic bottom ,
I don't know ,how the forum admin set up it .
and just want to know : is it permitted?

You can show up to three ad units on the same page - eg top, bottom and side - is that what you were asking?

Yes, it's permitted to place Adsense in forums, and many forums do so, although CTR is usually not very high. As long as you make sure the ads are not shown on registration and login pages, according to the TOS, ads are allowed.

Sorry man, my computer doesn't speak Chinese, those pages are nothing but jabberish on my screen... On top of that, you're not allowed to post URL's here.

heelz:

If what you are asking is "Can you show AdSense ads on each response or reply to a given topic, I don't think this would violate the AdSense TOS until you had four or more replies. In cases where you had over three replies, you could violate the TOS's provision that you can have only three AdSense ads per page.

I think the owner of the web site has put the Adsense code into their signature. Not a bad idea, except that you would easily have more than 3 ads per page.

Hi,

Somewhat related I wanted to get your opinion on adding Adsense to our forums.

What has your experience been with Adsense profits and benefits in a forum's context?

Is CTR usually lower?(which would make sense).

Do you believe it is worth adding Adsense to a site?

Thank you for the feedback.

I have google ads in the forum posts too. It does not look very good and I think, readers don't really like them but it makes some money.

The only thing to do was to hack the forum code, by inserting the ad code.

CTR in forums is really low -- real content runs a lot better. But I don't want to pass on the forum money.

I don't think that Google could have a problem with these ads. It still is content. To make sure that usable ads will show I only insert ads if the forum post has more than 200 characters.

Adsense on forums are a waste of time. I've already pulled mine after a month and a half and getting 1/2 clicks a day ON A GOOD DAY. I've slapped Burst Media ads on it instead, and even at the awful low CPM rates, I still make more on a daily basis with the banners than Adsense.

well that really depends on the subject

I optimized my forum to get spidered more easily then setup a "for sale" section and "employment" section

those forums do ok for click throughs and I don't have to write the "content".

adsense in regular discussion stuff though is a complete waste

Thank you for your feedback. It helps me figure out what to do with my forums.

I guess better of without Adsense on Forums then.

Forums aren't goods for ads since people dont want to get distracted and click ads
