But OK in the US

No matter which publisher site I try to look at, the area occupied by AdSense is blank. If I switch to a US proxy, I see ads.

The space occupied by the ads is "reserved" -- on my own site, a particular table <td> would be rather flat if there were no code in it, but it is expanded to the height of the invisible ad block. If I click through the page (not the ad space), I momentarily (original meaning, i.e. for a moment) see a white rectangle where the ad should have appeared.

Anyone else seeing this?

I found the problem, but it is a "go figure".

I use Kerio Personal Firewall 4.1.2 and it has an ad blocking option. As I had to rebuild my C drive, I had reinstalled it and overlooked this setting. I unchecked it and now I can see Adsense in Oz.

Now here is the odd bit: with the US proxy enabled, I could see the ads regardless of the KPF setting. There is no proxy exception in KPF that I can see, but it is probably a KPF bug.
