does one site affect the other?

I've had that one community driven site. 11k registered users, around 25k AS impressions daily. Stinking CTR, terrible EPC (very close to the minimum), many repeating visitors.

I've just finished a new site, which should be much better in terms of CTR and EPC (first five bids on related keywords on overture are in a $1.5-$3 range).

I noticed one @#%%^@ thing with this first site... whenever I add some content and let people know (I have a wonderful opportunity to promote stuff related to this site), I get many "fresh" visitors... and strangely, EPC for the very same pages skyrockets (I'd say it's 6x-8x more). So I guess those revisiting people drag my EPC down.

Now the question:
Does my first site affect 2nd site's EPC anyhow?
Would I get a better EPC on the new site if I created a brand new account for the new site?

P.S. I'll probably drag some of the 1st site users to the second site...

I'm even wondering if one page's epc has an affect on another. Does it really help to take adsense off of pages with a low ctr in order to help keep the higher ctr pages up?

It's all speculation, to the point where I'm not sure that it's worth speculating, but I've wondered the same thing.

I have about a dozen sites running AS, and it appears to me that when EPC is up on one site, it is up on all sites. This makes me thing that smart pricing works across an entire account.
