My adsense account has been showing about twice as many page impressions as the server webstats show for one of the sites. They are usually really close so it has been really noticeable. Also over the last few hours, hardly any new page impressions are showing which is VERY unusual. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

What the adsense stats show is ad impressions, not page impressions. So if you happen to have three ad blocks on one page, then if your weblog shows that page was loaded 100 times, the adsense stats (assuming you had a channel for that page) would show 300 impressions.

also your pages might get cached somewhere on the way (i.e. on proxy servers), while ads might get loaded again.

another thing is that every kind of traffic stats is inaccurate. find two applications that will show the same results and I owe you a beer.
