Adsense statistics

half day, half the revenue?

By noon, when I check my adsense stats, I figure I've aquired half of the revenue, and that tends to seem true: by the end of the day I'll have about twice as much as when I checked at noon, so I use the noon time
values to gauge how well I'm doing for the day.

Is this the same for everyone across other industries? or are there instances when your revenue comes mostly in the morning (when a lot of surfers go to the web from work), or later in the evening, or even when you're sleeping (if you have an european site, and live in the US, or vice versa).

This qustion can not be answered. Everybody is different. I'm sure there are some people that share your experience but there are many more that don't. It all depends on the subject.

I do music sites and most of my income appears to come from during the day - but quite a long day because Europe is up and clicking long before the US.

my stats are just far too erratic - quite often with clicks/impressions/earnings all out of whack until the end of the day when one or the other will catch up.

To be honest - I can't really think of any reason why the stats are updated during the day. It'd make it a whole lot less confusing for a lot of people if they just gave the correct totals at the end of play.

I generally have received one third of the day's revenue about noon Central US time, and two thirds at about 3 PM. My site is has a lot of European visitors, but the majority are probably American.
