I'm off to the races with AdSense ads on my retail site and so far so good. I'm wondering if I should experiment with the search feature. How does it compare to ads for you guys?

Not so well.
An order of magnitude at least lower.

It all depends on your site. My search EPC, clickthrough rate, and CPM are extremely high, but hardly any of my visitors use internal search, so the revenues don't amount to much.

Not that great huh? I don't want to clutter my site with the search stuff if there isn't much return. Is anyone happy with it?

I think no one gets anything, money wise, from the Google Search. But I use it anyway because I think it's an added benefit to me. Free searching of my site! That's the primary reason I have it up.

There could be, if your visitors use internal search.

It should be easy enough to test. If you aren't happy with the results, you can always pull the search code from your pages.

I used the G search box on my site before the adsearch idea was launched, so no real change to the look of the site.

The good bit is that now I earn a few pennies out of it. And yes, it IS pennies
