In the last couple days I seem to be getting a lot more of these ads that are from some general site that appears to have simply put in thousands of random words so that they can appear on almost any webpage. When the visitor clicks on the ad they get to a page that has noting about that product.

They must pay a bit more as they are beating out many of the well matched ads I usually get. Even though these ads may pay something I can't help but wonder if my visitors will quit clicking on ads that interest them if they find nothing worthwhile when they get there.

What ever happened to the idea of content sites showing ads for products related to the content?

It was getting so I didn't have to do so much filtering but I guess it's back to daily filtering.

Whoops, I meant nothing not noting.

Whatever happened to the edit function?

I would GUESS that these ads are showing up as a result of limited supplies of advertisers. Most advertisers are probably taking the holiday breaks.

Just a guess :)

I think you are right. This evening I am seeing a number of new ads, ones that would actually interest my visitors.
