I noticed that adsense shows pure psa on my site since I moved to new hosting company two weeks ago. I tried ommiting "www" eg. [mysite.com...] when browsing my site and the adsense shows up but if I type the complete address [mysite.com...] adsense doesn't show up.

Anyone knows why this is happening?

Thanks

I don't know why, but a few times I have had the similar issue. I solved it by changing dns records, instead of "CNAME" for www I set an "A" record and everything was fine. I can't explain the logic behind it.

If you can't experiment with dns records, try simple html or .htaccess redirection to the working page.

I tried to change www from "CNAME" to "A" but I get error. Anyway I have other websites hosted on the same server but they are all fine except the one.

Any other suggestion please.

I always assumed that the domain.com and www.domain.com were crawled separately.

I tried to change www from "CNAME" to "A" but I get error.

"A" requires IP address number, not a name like "CNAME".

I'm really frustrated with this. All the pages are showing up ads but the index page. Any other suggestion on how to fix this?

Thanks

thegreatpretender:

You need to get the media bot to come back to your index page. Change the AdSense code in some manner on the page in question. According to reports, this causes the media bot to revisit the page. Once ads begin to appear, you can change the code back.

It was the .htaccess. When I moved to a new host, the file manager where I should place all my files has a default .htacces, which I didn't bother to look at coz I'm not really familiar with it. I found out that the default .htaccess blocks robots from indexing my pages. No wonder why I can no longer find my site anywhere in yahoo and google. And I assumed that the same reason why adsense is not showing on my main page, because as soon as I removed the content of .htaccess the adsense starts showing up.

I had the same trouyble emailed google and they had it working 2 days later. Than a day later the damn public service ads would appear again. This went on about 5 times and finally i wrote google a nasty email enough to where they fixed it and it hasnt happened to me again.
