I want to give my visitors a quality Flights lead page without getting involved with affiliates etc.

Trouble is that for my Flights page I get nothing but Car Hire adverts!... can't seem to educate google adsense..

I have tried optimising and reoptimising the content.

Any ideas please?

Umm... if someone sticks up a "Rent a Car from Jake's Car Rental" ad and bids on "Cleveland air tickets", there's nothing you can do.

The system spiders the content on your page, so if they're bidding on keywords found on your page, the system is working fine.

Thanks.

As for working fine I am not sure about that.

I remember there being an editorial process for adwords and that the ads have to be relevant to the company offering...or they are refused.

n'est pas?

Try blocking out those avdvertisers until to you get the sort of ads you are looking for but be careful ;)

Point taken, although I would have to block a lot of advertisers I think to get down to the flight companies I am looking for. and then I would not get the car hire companies on some other pages where I want them :(

Just another quick question, does the advert depend on mediabot's visit to make up its mind or does it happen in real time with the page content being read and acted on?

If it is mediabot then about how long does it take to process and update the ad targeting?
