Loads of ads

I've just done a search to see how my sites were going and noticed about 100 ads down the side of the SERPs - is it just me - I always thought it was only about 8-10 that showed up!? (I was set to see 100 results per page)

That's puzzling as I thought it was a maximum of 15 (3 blocks of 5).
