I know you can block certain URLs in the AdSense program. That's easy.

My question is whether you can do the same when using the AdSense search program. It presents a block of ads, then the search results, then a block of ads.

Can you control what appears in the ads?

My particular concern are a series of "aff" (affiliate) ads that I'm seeing on popular search terms. The adds have the URL "www.a-well-known-company.com". I have "www.a-well-known-company.com" blocked on my webpages, but I'm not sure if that block is supposed to apply on the search pages or whether it's effective (anywhere) on "aff" ads.

OK, I'm dumb.

Just found the URL filter for search. It's seperate from the AsSense URL filter.
