According to last news "review" sites get better paying ads compared to other sites.
I wondering How google find out if one is a review site?
any ideas?

I don't think it's that Google "works it out", more that the content of review pages are highly targetted to a particular company/product. Obviously the conversion rates on those types of ads is much higher so advertisers are willing to pay much more. If someone is on a review page for a "G4 Apple Mac" and there's and adsense ad next to it for the same product, chances are that advertiser is going to get a sale so he will pay through the roof for that position. If the page is a news article about a girl that drowned then Adsense won't be coming up with specific ads so advertisers won't be paying as much for them. There's not alot of competition for "drowning" as a keyphrase.
That's probably not written as best as it could be so I hope you get what I'm saying ... it's been a long day .... well, year really ...
