Can a server crash affect Adsense

Another theory why CPM could go down

We had a server crash lasting almost 2 hours last thursday. It happenend in the early morning (late evening Google time).

The rest of the day everything was fine but the next day our cpm fell through the floor.

Could a server crash affect Adsense? Or is the drop caused by holiday/adsense flux/sun activity?

Any theory is welcome.

I've noticed various drops in the adsense stats when my server has gone down.

It makes sense, since there are no ads being served at that time

Err... if you're not serving ads, then you're not making money.

Sanenet: Sorry for my bad english. The CPM fell one day (24 hours) _after_ the crash and is low since then.

Not likely to have long term problems, I doubt they would consider your site down permanently unless it was down for a long time. like a week or so.
