I noticed that the adsense in G's cache always shows different ads then on my site. It is usually ads about adword, adsense or other webmaster related. The questions, who gets paid when someone clicks on adsense on the cached version of my site (which probably almos never happens, but nonetheless, I believe iut should be me) Also, when going though AskJeeves, is my adsense hijacked by them or not?

It is still your publisher ID, you still would get paid if anyone clicks.

All I've ever seen on the google cached pages for my site have been PS ads...

No it is not hijacked, this has been discussed and checked by the adsense team

I have only ever seen PSA ads for my cached pages. So I created my own "PSA" pointing to a good friendly site. I reckon it is worthwhile having your own default ad, because people also get to see these when they load a page off their hard disk (and are connected to the net).

Going OT on this, I have a tag in my header to prevent caching on search engines. I think that I rather have the visitor coming to my own site instead...
