Marketing Advertisers?

They say my keyword, but nothing to do with it!

Any thoughts on if I should filter these guys out, all the sudden this week I am seeing about 3 different firms ads showing up on my AdSense, they are all marketing companies, they want people to sign up answer questions etc... this has nothing what so ever to do with my keyword words.

I have a pure content website on a collectible, and these ads are coming up "Get $500 to buy 'keyword keyword' for free!"

Sounds catchy, and probably is drawing clicks, but when I went to the URL being displayed nowhere do I see anything about my keywords or even $500. Don't really want to annoy my visitors! :)

I am most likely going to block these, mind made up, unless someone here has good reason to not to? Any thoughts?

Thanx just wondered what you all would do!

Not always, but campaigns similar to these are typically short-lived.
And in my experience, they typically dominate the ads for the keywords they appear for... possibly meaing they are paying out a lil more than the other ads. However, that doesn't mean our payout is more.

Anywho, I just let them run their course.

Your comment about annoying your visitors....
Maybe it's just my sites & the visitors they attract, but I often find that I over-esitmate what my visitors will object to. Numerous times I've said to myself, "No way would I go for that, why would my visitors?", only to have it be a great performer on the site. I dunno, but it seems the more sites I launch, and the bigger my existing sites become, the less credit my visitors deserve. Don't get me wrong, without them I'd have to go work for somebody else, but they really make me stractch my head sometimes with their actions.
