Amazed at disparity in CPM

Just another useless rant here. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the day to day wanderings of CPM...

But, how is it that exactly 1/2 the clicks on one day can produce exactly 2X's the income from the previous day?

Weird...but not unusual....

Yeah, that can be kind of eye popping. I assume it's because of available inventory and what prices it was bid at.

At the end of the month it seems to even out though, most of the time.
