Creating a new channel

I haven't messed with using channels until I created my first one yesterday. I wanted to track the second ad unit I placed on a page so I made a channel to track that one ad unit. I did that about 24 hours ago....and I'm still not getting any information when I try checking data for that channel.

Is it normal for the channel to take a long time to start reporting data? I wont lose the clicks people made to that channel right?

Channel data takes about 48 hours to update. So you won't see any date for a particular channel for at least two days.

Yeah, that's one of G's biggest faults. Their channels take 2 days to update. Really a pain in the you know what.

Sometimes G even takes 3 days to update my channel! It gets bothersome when I want to experiment with a different adformat, but we live with it.
