"It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on
the ads on your web pages. We have therefore disabled your Google
AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an
effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers."

I just got this email from Google saying this, yet my account is still enabled. Do I lose all money I have gotten in the account or do I get what I have? I know who's been doing the "illegal" clicking on my site and it wasn't my fault that this happened. What should I tell Google?

If you know who's been doing the clicking, how long have you known it for, why didn't you tell Google before? Were the clicks from your IP or an IP that you use to check stats? Also, what volume of clicks are we talking about? Were they manual or automated?

The burden of proof is all on you. For whatever reason, you haven't wanted to take any responsibility but you also haven't given an explanation of why it is that you feel you bear no responsibility. That approach will not work with Google, nor should it.

If you have a legitimate explanation, let's hear it.

I emailed them back telling them the truth that a member of my site has been clicking the ads on purpose and he's been bragging about doing that (?). However, now my account is completely unaccessable, so even if I do tell them the truth, is my account still going to be compltely terminated forever?

If you were aware of the fraud, and you benefitterd from the fraud, and you did not take steps to stop the fraudulent activity, then what do you think? Jeeesh, it's really not rocket science.

The short answer: most likely so.

thesmallelder,

I'm sorry to be so blunt but you are a disingenuous weasel and you deserved to get booted. It is your fault. You wrote the following on your site:

"So if you guys see an ad that you think is intresting, please click on it because it supports the site. And if you are going to do a Google search, please do it in the “Google it” search form ... That also helps support the site. Thanks"

This is directly against the TOS of Adsense. I have no doubt that you will be booted forever and good riddance.

And to add fuel to the fire, may I point out that not one but two of your forum users warned you that you were violating the Adsense TOS. And now you pretend you have done nothing wrong? Give me a break!

Double good riddance.

AdSense never disables accounts completely. There were cases when they reenable accounts after few weeks if you explain them what was the problem.

The relationship between you and your Adsense account is finished.
