I applied for a new account using an e-mail address with that domain name. I put everything in my name with my social security number as the webpage is not associated with a neighborhood association or the like and I have personally fronted all the money for the expenses so far.
I heard back from Google saying I already had an Adsense account with my other page and to check there for an e-mail with information. I didn't get an e-mail, so I replied to their message asking them to re-send.
Can I assume my 2nd webpage has been approved since I'm approved for the 1st webpage? Should I go ahead and put the Adsense code up?
It's kind of annoying that it is working that way as I wanted to keep the income from each project separate should a neighborhood association be formed and therefore expenses for the website would be paid by them and therefore advertising income would go to them as well.
If and when a neighborhood association is formed legally then the neighborhood association (as a separate entity) can apply for an account. If they get approved then they can put the code on the site and you can take your code off.
So, am I automatically approved because my personal webpage is approved? What if this was a porn, gambling or other unacceptable site? It seems to me they should approve by website, not by account.
What kills me was the fact I didn't know once your account is approved, you can put ads on any website. So, I was waiting around all this time until my webpage got established with Google and got a PageRank when I could have had the ads up on day one!
Well, part of the problem was I started with a frames lay out (Kris ducks from the backlash) and that design wasn't condusive for Adsense. They new layout is MUCH better. I'm digging SSI!
Thanks again for straightening me out on this!
