Adding AdSense code to a new site

What's the latest on that?

Hi Folks:

We're launching a new website, and are existing Adsense participants (and doing quite well with it.) I know when we started in the program, you didn't have to clear new sites through them - just add the code to it, and they would check it out.

Is this still the same? I can't seem to get a clear answer reading through the TOS.

Thanks,
Hunter

You can add the same code to as many sites as you like, as long as they are within the TOS subject area.

Yes, it's within the TOS, although admittedly, there's aspects of the TOS which are sufficiently vague to knock out any site. I know its not in their best interests to define it too sharply, but it does leave some room for doubt on occasion.

I wonder if anyone has had just one site rejected by Adsense, and yet let the others it had continue on? I suppose that should be a separate topic.

Thanks for your help,
Hunter

I know of a few whose account has been terminated because they submitted clean sites and later used the codes to sites that violate the TOS. Unfortunately for them, they were caught and asked to remove the code from ALL of their sites. One screwup site can jeopardize your entire account
