Redirecting to a page with "better" ads?

Tell me if this makes sense.

Let's say your home page gets ads that are off topic for whatever reason (I run a general interest topics site with no overriding theme). On this page are listed ads that happened to appear because a certain word used to appear on that page. I noticed just now that when I was editing my "index2.php" page that I got what appear to be better ads (more topical and timely, like my site is so, to me, they're "better" ads).

So would it be OK, when getting off-topic ads on "index.php" to redirect to "index2.php" for a while? I'm thinking the problem is that Mediabot hasn't come by (yet) to see that my home page no longer includes that word that was triggering the "not-so-good" ads.

Thoughts?

I'd change the adsense code for tha main page to trigger a visit by the mediabot. Just change the colors, etc.

After the bot visits, you can always change it back.

OK. I'll try that. Thanks!

However, is redirecting to different home page OK with Adsense?

As long as you aren't showing AdSense on the first page, redirecting to a second page shouldn't be a problem. Do, however, think of the search engine consequences for doing this, in terms of your rankings in the serps.
