I see that google stock is up 20%. Do you think google might be a little more liberal with their adsense revenues? Not that I'm complaining.. just thinking out- loud.

Stock price is a reflection of earnings. Reduce Googles earnings by increasing the publishers share and you could reduce the stock price, which means Google would have to decrease the publishers share of revenue to get the stock k price back up.... a never ending cycle.

If they can find a way to make money off of giving more money to publishers (by increasing participation in the program), they will do it. Otherwise, they won't. My guess is they won't.

They aren't a charity.

The only way your cut will be based on the stock price is if they pay with shares of stock. Are you equally willing to accept a pay cut if the stock price goes down?

How about we stick to the laws of Supply and Demand...

adsense dividends - I don't see how that would be evil

Actually, it would be evil if you consider a company breaking its fiduciary duty to thousands of shareholders to be evil. Corporate officers have no business redistributing the wealth of a company to people willy-nilly.

Speaking of rhymes, this whole thread is getting a bit silly.

Judging from today, I would take google stock options in lieu of pay.. Anyway... I guess publishers are equivalent to screenwriters in the movie biz. No respect!

If we get an increase, I would be for it, however, you have to give props to Google for the generous split they do give.

No respect? C'mon, they cannot "give 110%" like pro athletes. :-)

Yea right. I still think we should be able to trade in AdSense dollars for Google shares....

The only way you're going to benefit from Google's rising stock price is to buy shares of the company.

You can... Cash your Google check, send that money off to your broker, and buy shares.;)
