I just noticed in program policies that there is no statment says that publishers are not allowed to display adsense banenrs on members pages that requires login and password. There is only a statment that says ads can't be shown on registration or login pages that doesn't apply for members pages.

I was wondering if anyone doing this and if it is allowed?

Thanks

The matter is, if you want to put ads on pages restricted to members, how do you expect that the Mediapartners robot crawl those pages to figure what targetted ads should it put here?

I have seen on one site and it was showing related ads. But I am afraid that they violate the policies. Thats why i asked.

Thanks..

I believe the restriction on registration pages is to prevent ads on registration pages which people will use to "click out of" the registration page (instead of using their back button). In other words, it's to help prevent surfers who are just clicking to leave.

Regarding getting the correct ads on your pages, I'd as Google via email how that's done.

you could allow access to the member pages to the Mediacrawler only (check UserAgent AND that the IP of the robot resolves to a google.com datacenter, also make sure to block the ordinary googlebot in robots.txt for these pages / via a firewall etc.)
I think google would be fine with that only your members might not like it if the pages contain sensitive data.

I usually see themed ads on pages that require login.
