Is that o.k. or common?

I got a page with AS ad units that is targeted and setup the same way as all pages within this site that ALWAYS have ads served, the page deals with one special computer brand.

Only: there are NEVER any ads for this page. Is there such a thing like this company preventing any ads served?

Have you tried searching Google to see if any ads related to the brand come up as AdWords?

Also, if an advertisers are bidding on these sorts of keywords they may have content match switched off.

Well, we are talking about the largest PC manufacturer on the planet, there are NO ads on Google's SERP when typing in just their name, they got the first 50 or so hits covered, no ads. Sometimes there is just one (says COMPANY.com but it's an affiliate runing an AW ad there).

Related searches in Google: COMPANY notebooks there area couple of ads, none mentions COMPANY though.

Could it be that COMPANY striking a deal with G not to allow any dilution as they only, exclusively sell over the web?

More likely to be a DMCA complaint over the infringement of their trademark. Why not try to setup your own ad using that keyword and see what happens?

Well, its not dell, the one that sells online. They show lots of ads. HP, the largest pc manufacturer in the world currently only brings up one. Strange though, if you search compaq you get 4, but if you search hp compaq, you get lots.

It's the first you mentioned that I have built a page for. In Google the page is only listed with the URL, the ads are always empty, I got hundreds of links to that page and some 80 uniques a day. Still, nothing. Again, they get AdWords ads at the G SERPS, none but one mentions them though, except of one affiliate.

The AS preview tool shows nothing on my page.

Could it be my page? All others work excellent though with nice CTR's.
