Adsense ADS appearing in Dutch language versus English Default?

Just a few days ago, I went to type in google.com in my browser and I was automatically redirected to google.nl.

I still haven't been able to get rid of it other than clicking on the view Google in English link. Tried clearing cache and deleting cookies to no help.

Not only has my browser been hijacked, but the Adsense ADs are now appearing on my websites in the Dutch language.

I'm in the US so why google.nl is prompted everytime I type in google.com is beyond me. But why are ADs appearing in Dutch on an English written website?

Anybody else have this problem?

You must add the language meta tag in the header:

See the following topic.

It sounds as though Google has your IP geotargeted incorrectly, since it redirects you to Google.nl and the ads appear in Dutch.

If you want Google.com per default instead of Google.nl, just go to the Google.com site and Bookmark it.

Next time you won't be redirected to the .nl site.

At least, this is the way it works for Google.se (Sweden).
