Nobody kows but

a) there are some thousands of websites/webmasters waiting
b) there is a lot of adverts in spanish if your IP points a spanish ISP
c) Adsense is now running on Tripod.Lycos.es (into an horrible frame)

I supose Google will open new languajes options (at least spanish, french, german and japanese) the next year, when the tests have been finished.

I placed AdSense on a site that I have in French and the ads served up where in French. I did this just as a test to see what would happen. I have sense taken the ads down as the site was thin on content.

There are a lot of non-english, inventory-rich languages waiting for adsense.

But for now, google has been pretty clear: adsense is for english only pages. Put it on non-english pages and you are violating TOS.

BLAH.... why do we have to wait?

Not entirely true, if you are big enough you can have it in german too.

Just for fun.... I put it on a Spanish page I own, and so far no problems. Not really exapecting payment from it, but don't seem to have made very much either!
