How to change the Ads

Hmm?

Okay, simple.

On certain pages there are Adsense Ads that I don't think do as well as others could do.

For example, if I have a page on flashlights but the adsense ads are for online college degrees, what can I do to get ads pertaining to flashlights?

What does google look at on a page to determine which type of ads to run?

Thanks.

Google is looking at the keywords on the page. It's possible that they don't have any ads to match your keywords, in which case there seems to be some evidence that they will then serve ads that more generally match your site.

If the ads are just wrong, reread your copy and see if there are any words that might be misleading Google. Change them. See what happens.

As a last resort, you could add the URLs of the wrong ads to your block list, but if the problem is more with your keywords that probably won't help.
