Wouldn't it be great if we could earn a percentage of the income from referrals we send to G? There are still lots of great content websites that don't know about this amazing revenue generating source.

An Adsense Referral Program would be ideal for all three parts.

Explain to me HOW exactly you would expect to make any money from this?

Tell me, what webmaster doesn't know about AdSense at this point? So how many people do you think you could refer, and what kind of $ figure would you expect per signup?

Anyway, I don't think it would be all that good in practice.

Certainly I don't want my peer publishers to know this program if they have not heard about it.

Many Webmasters have no idea whether AdSense will be a good thing and how much money they could make. I for once have convinced many Webmasters to join AdSense that would otherwise have not joined because they had no idea it could be a good thing.

Furthermore, if Google could give referers a share of their cut, that would motivate us to spend some time and effort to tutor and help our referrals to optimize their revenue within Google rules. The more money our referrals would make, the more we would make and so would Google.

Therefore I think this could be a brilliant idea of Google would reckon it.

Has anybody tried to suggest it to Google? If not, it is time for some of us doing it now.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I have made a few word of mouth referrals to the Adsense program as well.

Many advertising networks offer an affiliate program, both for signing up new publishers and for finding new advertisers (fastclick does this).
