Google has posted a couple of new case studies:

* Business name: Healthcommunities.com
* Business type: Specialty information for healthcare consumers and medical professionals

* Business name: hireCentral
* Business type: Career resources for medical, biotech and pharmaceutical professionals

https://www.google.com/adsense/success

I'm always interested in these because they can to give me a feel for how Google is "spinning" the program. Interesting to note that hireCentral is an AdWord user and mentions that they "tried [another] ad network offering category-based targeting. But that program delivered ads that were incorrectly targeted...."

sorry to interrupt, unrealated ... but look what layout hireCentral uses for its adsense search box ... isn't it against TOS?

Nice find Never_again

As to the layout being against the TOS, why?
Either try to get the ads to look as much as the site as possible so your visitors click because they actually think the ads are part of the site, or you try to attract you visitors to the ads by using contrasting colors.

I tend to do both, now that I can, but it is still the first kind that gets the most clicks.

the health site also displays google ads on error pages ('sorry no results found' in the search) - also against the TOS

It is very interesting to see the way Google 'spins' Adsense, I haven't read the case studies yet but just looking at the goals of the two new ones, they are very different to the others.

Not a mention of boosting revenue but instead "enhancing site content" and "engender user loyalty" through contextual advertising!
