I have uploaded some of my pages to server and whenever i make a small change i refresh the page to see how the changes are being affected. And ofcourse adsense code is on the page since i have to see how it is gonna look like. The site's only visitor is I am and there is nobody in the world aware of this site except google.
I was wondering if G would say anything about refreshing the pages many times and loading adsense code as i refresh those pages?
I think that many of us do the same thing but you know i am kinda nervous..
What is your experience about this..
Thanks in advance
Mostly I've just inserted the code and let it fly that way. But recently I built a new page, inserted the code, and uploaded it. Then I made a bunch of changes progressively untill I was happy with the page, which meant I loaded the page a lot from the server so it showed the ads.
Bad choice. The page views were way more than visitors would have generated and it really skewed the CTR for the page.
Now I just use an image, or insert a table with some relevant, but non essential text and sized to the ads and use that to test with.
On high volumn pages the tesst page views might not even be noticable, but on low volumn pages it really makes a difference.
"However, do note that Google AdSense policies require that websites
displaying Google ads be active and not under construction. This ensures
that our program displays the most relevant ads on active, relevant
websites. When your site is complete and active, you may add the AdSense
ad code.
Please note that we constantly monitor all of the web pages displaying
Google ads. If we find that one of your web pages violates our policies,
we will notify you and ask you to remove the AdSense ad code from that
page."
Since then I use an image of the ad.
Sincerely,
