I saw a thread about this once before, but can't seem to find it. I've noticed on some sites (e.g. sitemeter.com) that instead of the ads saying "Ads by Google" it says "Ads by Goooooooooooogle". Is this a joke? Anyone ever seen this on another site?
Thanks for posting the previous URL - but no one really mentioned the why in that thread that i can tell.

I think it is just a little light hearted humor from google. I guess it is based on the goooogle that appears on the serps for the next and prev results pages.
It also makes as think if the google brand as more than google And lets face it, their idea worked. we're talking about it.
