Based on the reports here about higher CTR with Adsense in the middle of the page, I'm experimenting with switching it from the right-hand column to the left-hand column. People read from left to right, after all. Any opinions on which is better (before I change ALL my pages)?

I think it's a good idea because people read from left to right, so the Google Adsords ads are more "in your face" if they are on the left.
If I design a site in the future, I will put a menu on the right and Adsense ads on the left.

I switched Adsense on a couple of sites we run temporarily from the right hand column to the left hand column and the income from those sites doubled.
I've been meaning to switch it back to the way it was before but I keep getting distracted.

I also found that AdSense on the left gave me almost twice the CTR over AdSense on the right (same pages, no other changes). For aesthetic reasons I won't put banner ads on my pages, so I can't compare results for that position, but left is definitely better than right in my experience....
