Adsense on Message Boards

Hi all.

Has anyone tried Adsense as a way to advertise on message boards? We're doing well with Adsense on other parts of our site, and considering using it in the forums.

There are mixed reports on how well AdSense does on forums, so be sure to set up a channel just for your message boards so you can track how well it does.

I have Adsense on my forums. I get lower click-rates than I do on other sites, but it’s still worth having. I also only show the ads to unregistered users – no point in annoying regulars with ads, or risking them starting ‘Hey, how come XXXX are advertising here – they suk!’ topics.
