I've been wondering about using a page with the Adsense Websearch on it as an alternate page.

I've been meaning to email support and ask about this, but haven't gotten around to it.

It just seems to me that this might work well, if it is allowed.

I think I could always put a little text on the page to, if that would make a difference. I'd have to experiment to see how much I could fit on the page and still have it all display properly.

Anyone have any thoughts on this possibility?

It seems possible now, make a page with just the websearch box and point your alternate ad to that.

Make sure your websearch code is set to open results in a new window otherwise they'll open inside the tiny adsense iframe.

Check the Google T&C to make sure you can have the websearch box on a page of its own. And if you can't check with Google and I can't see them objecting to what you plan.

Just remember in general websearch clicks pay a lot less than adsense ones so it might not be the best way to monetize the space.
