other sites steal google code

would google find out?

Can one website link to the html file with the google ad code that is located on antoher site? And is it possbile for others to steal the ad code and put it on theirs, just wondering.

This cannot be done like you say.

Yes, I can set up an include in PHP and use your code. Yes, your ID will appear on my site, and YES, it will show an add relevant to your site.. but only in the beginning. After Google's Adsense MEdiabot (or whatever it is called) comes to my web site and spiders it, the ads will change to match my content. The code causes a javascript script to be run on the computer of the visitor. This script easily tells Google what page you are visiting.

Using a PHP include is EXACTLY the same as me visiting your site, copying the Adsense javascript, and putting it on my own site.

recently one of my website got attacked (recieved too much clicks). i got more than ****+ clicks and income climbs very high.

i decided to close my website. still i got page impressions. i was thinking somebody stole my adsense code.

what is our protection againts this sabotage?

and what does google do about this problem?

The more I read these types of threads, the more I wonder why Google couldn't just review each website before allowing webmasters to post ads to them. They could then associate the unique ids to a set of allowed sites. Using the code on any other site would render PSAs.

Not sure they do anything, that has been the point of the thread (I think).

Your impressions could be coming from cached pages in google.
