I've noticed that if the text of the page is:
Keyword.
than an ad by keyword.com is more likely to show up on the page. So I'm wondering about the algo for choosing ads on the publisher side. For regular adwords, you bid on a keyword and boom your ad shows. But for content sites, there are themes and such. Does google try to match the page with the keywords of the ad as specified by the advertisers? (ie a keyword search still). Or does Google spider the destination URL? Do they take into the account the Title of the ad? The text of the ad?
