Yesterday I changed my adsense placement, which makes a huge difference. My CTR and earning almost doubled. Do I need to worry about the sudden increase? I think adsense should be wise enough to sense that this is not a fraut.

Why would you worry?

I don't see any cause for alarm.

No need to worry. When ever I make changes to the ads, CTR and earnings are going up.

yes every time I made a change I see an increase in CTR. this time I move adsense from bottom to 2/3 position in the page. I wish I should have done it earlier.

Sounds like the logical result of trial & error testing.

Works for me.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago when I changed the color scheme of my adsense ads. Nothing bad happened just got bigger checks :)

As long as your traffic is high-quality, things should be OK.

I agree. Don't worry.

Adsense makes people irrational. I worry when the opposite happens :) And it seems like every day I have to work harder and harder for google to pay me less and less. This keeps me up at night :)

I'm just kidding with you, because I understand the question and sympathize. I've had several days when I have less pageviews on the search feature than clicks...and I never cheated...but I assume they understand it's possible...

It's amazing what a little trial and error can do.

A lot of people worry about getting more traffic, but sometimes all you need to do is play around with colors, positions etc.

I made some changes earlier this week and my CTR went up 400%. It's amazing how testing different layouts, colors, etc. can change the CTR.

Is that right? Better CTR translates to better EPC? I see it too on my site but I thought it was not realated. Isn't EPC is independent of CTR?

Based on my channel data, this is a general trend.
