Image ads

Today I implemented AdSense onto the site of the company that I work for, and I decided to try using the "image" option for it. Unlike my many personally-run sites, the company site avails itself to mostly 120 by 600 ads. And, from what I've found so far, they have good image ads that go with it... Everything from politics to ketchup to a new show on Fox TV.

Of course, it's not possible to track the success of the image ads at this point (versus the regular AdSense ads), but for those of you who have used the image ads, have you experienced good results?

A couple of sites that I frequent have image ads turned on, and just today I was thinking that there is a lot more variety on rotation than before. I saw at least three different image ads in a webmaster oriented site.

I've had image turned on from day 1... and so far I've seen exactly 2 different ads.

The first day was very successful for us... It's not possible to track what was image vs. traditional, but we pulled 2x on AdSense in less than a full day on AdSense than we ever did on our best day with ****. I believe I saw approx. 6-7 different image ads, all of which were well produced.

Tampalou ... that's more about the novelty factor. Check if that trend holds for a month or more.
