How to optimise blogs

I run a blog site, and on my users' blogs (not the site itself, but the blogs my users have) Google always display public service ads.

Is there anything I can do about this since I have no control over the content of a large portion of my users' blogs?

not really, short of censoring all ur users posts, the content on their blogs is their own and there's not much you can do about it.
