Hi everyone.... Can anyone tell me how to estimate (and I just mean estimate) what certain keywords adsense adds are going to pay me, when my visitors click on them? Now of course I have an idea for the ones curently running, but what I mean is. I understand you can't give away the numbers, but is there a way to figure out roughly what they pay, by bidding on them in google adwords. Is the payout in adsense a percentage of what one would have to bid in google adwords to get the word?

thanks....

Think 40% of the AdWords bid and be happy with anything higher.

Really? I'll take it.... Is that a perfect safe bet then? Is sounds like you're saying it is....

Thanks to "smart pricing" whatever percentage Google pays publishers may vary so much that it's not possible to give a reasonable estimate.

At any rate, the percentage paid to a publisher would be based on the amount the advertizer actually paid for the ad, which may well be less than their maximim bid for that ad.
