How many ads are allowed per page?

Hello and thanks in advance:

I have read in this forum that now adsense allowes publishers to place more than 1 ad per page.

So I did and it was OK for awhile but now it looks like all the other ads are not showing up, only the first one on the page.

Any idea why?

Has anything changed?
