With my account, i could get $20, one day and not a single cent the next. Something is up with google.

A 6% slump is hardly a huge drop. It's well within the range of normal day-to-day (or even month-to-month) variation.

Really? I just put my last few months' numbers through a spreadsheet and a pattern emerges: Mondays and Fridays account for 40% of the average weekday upwards / downwards deviation, while Saturdays and Sundays account for only about 28% of all movements in the stats.
