I'm just wondering how many people have experienced positive results from the new Google SiteSearch. I've put it into my site, towards the top, so it's very prominent.

I know it's quite new, but anyone have any hints or tips to share in this area?

Google's sitesearch, in my opinion is nowhere near as good as atomz's free version. I would recommend you use atomz for your site, and a google websearch box for web searching.

Isn't Atomz free search limited to 500 pages?

I've had it on my site for several years.

Now it pays me money!

I like ht://Dig. If Google's search were comparable in terms of customizability of the search window (even respecting the improvements just implemented), output, and comprehensive coverage of my site, I might be more interested in their site search. Granted, I don't get ad revenue, but users of my site get good search results.

i would only use the google adsense search on my site if i could customize the colours, size of search box etc. so it fits into my sites ... i asked for permission to make these changes and they said no so no-go for that!
