White box where ads should appear

I run adsense on a number of sites. Two of these sites have very low traffic. After about 1 week of running adsense on these sites, both of them suddenly stop working. Just a white IFRAME.

I notice that the Clickthru ratio is VERY sporadic on these sites (compared to fairly predictable stats on larger sites).

Is this a "site-only" ban?

If you have google_alternate_color set to 'FFFFFF', a blank iframe is what you will get when no ads are available for the page.

I definitely don't have that set. The impressions just died suddenly about 2 weeks ago.... I hadn't made any changes.

I tend to think that their 'fraud' checker decided the huge variation in CTR was just too much for these domains.

I don't think it works like that. You are either in or your out.

If you don't have alternate ads or colors set, all I can guess is that some kind of firewall is blocking Google's ads... Does the same thing appear when viewed from different people's computer?

My alt. amazon ads blank out when I have my norton firewall set to block ads.
