I only compare long term figures, daily stats fluctuate way too much to make me sweat. So often i thought oh no now it is only downhill just to see the following day a sharp rise again. All in all, since i joined the income is steadily increasing for me.

On the other hand, my EPC for the previous 7 days was slightly less than the average for the current month, and my EPC for the current month is very slightly less than my EPC for last month. So it's likely that the improvement in the last 36 hours is an anomaly, and that such short-term changes don't represent any kind of trend.
Similarly, it's likely that the current month's slowdown has less to do with Google than it does with the marketplace. (I have a travel-planning site, and many vacationers have already planned their summer vacations by now. Based on past experience, I'd expect booked revenues--and possibly AdSense earnings--to climb again in September as people return from the beach and plan fall travel to the destinations that I cover. But if there is a revenue increase, it won't be a trend; it will reflect normal season variation in supply and demand.)
Yesterday was also my first full day with image ads on the home page, so I wonder if the image ads were a factor.
