ImageAds anyone?

Anyone tried serving ImageAds? I was wondering if they are widely available.

I haven't yet seen an image ad on my site. I think they're likely to be used most by traditional advertisers who have yet to try content ads (or even PPC ads). And I strongly suspect that Google has reps pitching major ad agencies that wouldn't dream of running ugly little text ads that put art directors out of work. :-)

I've had two image ads come up on my site consistently.. I changed the code back to text only on both pages because:

The ads never changed; One add was a jumble of text that looked real bad. The other took too long to load.

I saw my first image ad the other day, even though I enabled them the day they were announced. It came up on a web-hosting-oriented page.

Can't say anything about CTR -- don't have enough data.

We have been allowing image ads on one of our channels as a test. So far (after a month) we have seen no image ads.
