Clicks not being designated a channel of origination

paying click shown in aggregate info, not in channel data

Low volume of visitors as of right now. (Which is how I could notice this) I noticed a paying click in the aggregate data on a particular day, now more then a few days ago. However that click does not show at all when viewing the channel data. All pages are running channeled adsence.

Would be nice to know from where this was clicked for statistical reasons.

I wonder if people with larger volumes of visitors are getting all their information, the omission would probably go unnoticed.

I have the same thing going on. I assumed I missed some pages somewhere with the channel code...

Yeah, I had considered that. But I run DW and use templates to take care of the pages themselves. Three templates used, three templates updated with new code. No possibility to have "missed" a page.

Channel tracking seems to be broken at the moment - I set up channels 2 days ago when I added the web search, but have yet to see any data under the channel specific reports.

Also, I dunno if this is normal; but even if I select the same channel for AdSense and web search, I get different ID values in the JavaScript, which seems a bit odd.

I have asked support about both these issues.

I also have missing clicks in the last few days.

Not using any new features. Haven't changed any adsense code recently.

Also, I even have a large difference between shown page views in my stats program vesus page veiws in adsence aggregate info. Either there are ALLOT of folks surfing with java turned off or there is something hinky going on.

My page views have never matched log files. I would imagine that where server logs record anything, AdSense would try to count 'real page views' based on some sort of quality algo. They would throw out mechanical clicks and probably some ip's they deem as spammers in order to keep the CTR more accurate. It would be interesting to have a thread on discrepancies between logs and AdSense reporting.

Channel data is always two days behind. You should be seeing it tomorrow.

I have data from the day in question in both aggregate data and channel report. A paying click is show in one and not in the other. Strange.
