Log search queries

Hello,
I took the step to replace my site search feature by the new websearch.

However, I miss the search log feature as it was important for me to conduct examination about searched terms on my site.

I suggest a search log for websearch. If google doesn't want to store it for long on their server, they could keep only the logs for the last 7 days or something like this.....

Can you not grab the term searched with javascript when the submit button is pressed... not sure cause I don't know javascript much.

...or any other programming language for that matter.
