After several months of observation, I found my EPC is the highest when total clicks are lower such as at weekends. When number of clicks and CTR are higher, I will never get higher EPC (if I am payed at the same EPC, my earing could double or tribble). From these observations, I can figure out the formula smart pricing uses to calculate your earnings.

First of all, there is no such thing as smart pricing behind adsense, your earning is determined by predefined formula that is to take as bigger share as possible from publishers and at the same time to please you occasionally (but never at your highest CTR) and let you believe that they are playing a fair game.

You may say you got high EPC at weekends because advertisers pay higher than weekdays. This could not be true. Let me tell you that my web site is work related, only weekday surfers are interested in ads while they are working. So advertisers would focus on weekdays instead of weekends. Do you agree?

No there is just too little information for one publisher to really get an acurate picture of how this works. There are a lot of factors. The more ads that get serverd the better chance there is of you getting cheaper ads on your site. I understood smart priceing to be done on a per site basis and not on a time period or number of clicks. If your site is determined to get a certain type of ad you will alwasy get that type of ad. That is just how I understood it.
