Revenue used to average approx $80 p/day while it now got to the point of about 1/2 of this p/day (+- a few dollars). and the worst part.......it just keep dropping while my traffic patterns are exactly as they were since the beginning of this year.
CTR is about the same also (3%+-).
It is getting to the point that I’m considering to start taking the ads off my pages......the revenue is starting to look like....mmmm how to put it, insignificant.
Anyone else experiencing their Adsense revenue slowly but surly being reduced to a sore joke per day?

I personally believe that google acquired/acquires 40% of their adwords advertisers via the "Ads by Google" link visible on thousands of web sites. Disappointed webmasters will soon start to pull out the ads and replace by something more productive. Google are just shooting themselves in the leg for not taking care of publishers.
Daily revenue started to drop since approx 25 may and it is fast downhill since. The revenue droop rate seam too fast for normal market fluctuations. It is a google calculated move. Not saying they are being greedy. Just saying they are being stupid.
I feel so sorry to see such a great system going down the drain.
My two cents.
Overall, revenues are increasing month by month.
I believe success with AdSense depends on your market sector, increasing traffic and Ad rotation.
If your traffic levels are static and Ad rotation is poor, I would imagine you will reach a plateau quite quickly.
Fresh content on a wide subject matter is critical.
If your CTR is the same, I wonder if someones AdWords campaign just came to an end - are any Ads which were showing at the beginning of the month noticable by their absence?

Note that for most sites traffic and revenue will be starting to drop off until September. You say your traffic is unchanged, and some sites do get the same or more visitors in the summertime, but my observation is that overall Web traffic goes down significantly.

I do have extensive content. It would be interesting to hear from others. Are content sites improving overall? Does it depend on the content topic?
I have 5 web sites on various topics (wide range of topics which normaly attract a wide range of ads, some from high end market advertisers like banks, insurance, stock market related etc - which used to pay extremely well up until about 25 May). I don't follow the ads very closely....a bit hard with more than approx 15,000 pages online but on the main pages i did notice a good rotation of Ads.
As mentioned earlier, traffic is static across the network (approx 6000-7000 unique p/day) CTR and EPC static as well.
The overall feeling is of not being paid for the exposure i give Adsense as i used to. Cant help but to think that I’m being taken advantage of....hence my thoughts of starting to pull out the ads.
I'm in this business long enough to know about market fluctuations and saturation (it can't be saturation when the CTR is consistent. CTR falls when you have saturation). It ain't it.
1. the pay out per click have been dramatically reduced and tends to hover around the 14 cents p/click on average now.
I'm used to seeing much larger payouts (0.18 - 0.45 p/click). I don't see those sort of clicks anymore.
2. CTR is 3% which tells me that the ads are positioned well and are performing well. 3% is a good CTR.
It is a google thing. I have no doubt.
Guys, lets start a pool and each member will indicate
his experience with the direction of daily revenue since the start of June.
It would be interesting to compare and get a general picture.
To make it easy to follow simply indicate:
Revenue is down (%)
OR
Revenue is way down (%)
OR
Revenue unchanged (%)
OR
Revenue on the up side (%)
OR
Revenue is up big time (%)

But using channel data to eliminate these earnings, my variance has been +/- $.027 per click, so I cannot complain.
I also have some minor sites that don't do very well for lack of good ad matches.
I would tag this is normal fluctuations and not a large scale change in anything, since some people are experiancing negative changes while some are positive.
I am not complaining, now if targeting was a little quicker..................
Are your sites informational and/or do you sell somthing on these sites?
Equally important questions would be:
1) What's your topic?
2) Do you have pages on many different subtopics, or are all of your AdSense eggs in one basket?
We are purely an informational site online since 1998 covering 10 varied but interrelated topics, each with distinct set of advertisers. Each topic contains about 3-15 sub-topics, all containing anywhere from 20-75 articles per sub-topic. Our articles are typically 600-5000 words. We have no affiliate or e-commerce pages.
We are showing image ads on many of our topic areas.
My only fear is that it will become increasingly harder to profit. I'm hoping that competition (for Google) will help to minimize this, and surely Overture and CJ will provide this competition soon.
(that said...I'm still extremely loyal to Google, and I am as diligent as possible in trying to run a good operation that Google would appreciate if they were to ever take the time to review my sites)
